Clearly enjoying herself, Nicole Richie spent time with friends at Las Ventanas al Paraiso Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Sunday (September 2). The socialite was in town for the wedding of celebrity publicist Meredith O'Sullivan.
Wearing a yellow and brown bikini and a Panama hat, the fashion designer laughed with pals on her hotel balcony before piling into a golf cart to cruise around the resort.
The 30-year-old recently talked about her daring fashion philosophy to InStyle magazine. " 'My wardrobe has gone through so many different stages. When I was a kid, there was an odd-socks phase; my mother was too embarrassed to go out with me. When I'm 40, I'll go, 'What was I thinking when I was 30?'"
However, that bravery doesn't extend to red carpet events. "I'm a coward about red-carpet dressing. If I'm nervous about something, I don't wear it. I wore a beautiful Julien Macdonald gown to the Golden Globes. The beading was so heavy, but I loved it.''
