The 27-year-old "Wide Awake" singer was in fine form as she posed for the paparazzi prior to making her way inside the Staples Center to catch all the action. Boasting multiple nominations, Miss Perry also took the stage to dish out an early award while naming One Direction as Best Pop Video winner. Meanwhile, the Kevin Hart hosted 2012 MTV VMAs also boast performances by superstars like Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, P!nk and first-timer Frank Ocean.
