Recently, the media has sparked controversy between the two musical acts, claiming a feud over Justin's girlfriend, Selena Gomez. On Thursday (September 6), the British boy band beat out the "Boyfriend" singer at the VMA awards, taking home three awards at the event.
The Biebs took to Twitter to thoroughly document the connection, tweeting, "chillin with the homies" with a photo of the three staring intently at the camera.
Later, he added, "At my house cookin some noodles with @NiallOfficial" with a photo of the two flexing their culinary muscles.
Further documented evidence of the event includes an Instagram photo captioned "The look away," featuring all three teen idols.
Finally, the 18-year-old pop star tweeted, "Guys night in full effect @AlfredoFlores @zaynmalik @NiallOfficial!!"
