Making her first appearance since seeking treatment for stress and anxiety, LeAnn Rimes performed a 14-song, 70-minute concert for her fans in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Friday (September 7).
While looking happy to be back on stage, the country cutie still paid attention to the "elephant in the room." The 30-year-old opened up to the fans at the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center explaining that she is doing much better, saying, "I'm totally cool and so happy; I think I'm about to cry," adding, "Thanks for being awesome fans – patient and understanding."
Miss Rimes dished to the audience about where some of her inspiration came from, explaining, "I'm pissed off at a lot of things, and I just can't say it, so, it comes out in the music."
The "How Do I Live" songstress also said she worked with Grammy Award-winning songwriter Dan Wilson on this album and explained that her track "Borrowed" was "the most honest song I've written."
After giving an emotional and heartfelt performance, LeAnn later took to her Twitter page to again show her appreciation, writing, "Thanks to all my wonderful fans in Wisconsin. You showed me an amazing amount of love and respect tonight. Love you always."
The blonde beauty is slated to continue treatment after her series of concerts are finished in the Midwest.
