Season 4 of "The Vampire Diaries" is going to be filled with sex, drama and, of course, some good old-fashioned blood sucking.
In a new promo for the upcoming season of The CW above, fans learn that Elena (Nina Dobrev) is not fully dead, but not fully alive after drowning with vampire blood in her body in the Season 3 finale. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) try to find a way around Elena fully transitioning into a vampire. Bonnie (Kat Graham) risks her life to go to the other side and save her friend, but it doesn't look like that turns out well.
Meanwhile, Caroline (Candice Accola) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) -- or Klaus (Joseph Morgan) in Tyler's body? -- start making out in the woods, but later on, it looks like Caroline's in quite the serious car crash.
