Usher Wins Court Battle, Awarded Primary Custody of Sons Aug 24th 2012, 20:19 After much back-and-forth, Usher has been awarded primary custody of his two children by a court. The "You Make Me Wanna" singer had been in the midst of a bitter custody battle with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster. During the drawn-out proceedings, Foster claimed that the 33 year-old engaged in drug use in front of the children and absent at times. Usher fired back that Tameka kicked him and spat on his then-girlfriend. Despite Usher being awarded primary custody, Miss Foster will retain some custodial rights to the pair's young sons.
