And with the "Shakespeare in Love" star at the helm, the Shrine Auditorium shindig promises to be an historic and celebrity-laden night.
Slated to go live on all major television networks on September 7th at 8pm ET, the Stand Up to Cancer event will raise big buck for cancer research and awareness, a cause many stars can't wait to get behind.
Included on the illustrious guest list are Emma Stone, Katie Couric, Taylor Swift, Julia Roberts, Michael Douglas, Matt Damon, Jessica Biel, Jeremy Renner, Coldplay, and Alicia Keys.
